Robotics Camp
- Exciting, hands-on course provides an in-depth look at designing and building robots and the various sciences and technologies involved in this fascinating subject. Various robot types and systems studied, including VEX, Lego Mindstorms NXT, and A-robot.
- Start by assembling simple robots to gain a basic understanding of motors, gears, locomotion, and power systems, and learn how to follow step-by-step instructions, troubleshoot problems and use various tools.
- Construct more complex robots involving sensors, motors, remote control and custom programming in BASIC, NXT-G, NXC, C, Java, etc.
- Design robots to solve real-world challenges using analysis and constructive brainstorming techniques. Learn how to create and set up testing environments for accurate simulations, and document your creations.
- This course is great for beginners as well as experienced robot builders. If you have attended other robotics courses or own your own VEX or Mindstorms NXT kit and want to push the envelope with more advanced designs, custom programming, and even learning how to safely interface custom built circuits and build homebrew sensor implementations, then this is the course for you!
- Practical hands-on application of electronic engineering principles and concepts: Construct electronic circuits to perform numerous experiments with light, sound and motion to learn about transformers, relays, generators, solar power, displays, transistors, diodes, series/parallel circuits, radios, resistance, capacitance and semiconductors.
- Delve into software engineering principles and concepts: More advanced students will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of C-language, used for programming the VEX and advanced Mindstorms NXT (NBC and NXC languages) and Java.
- Attendees may have the opportunity to join our FIRST Lego League team for the September to January competition season.
- This is simply the most thorough and advanced course you will find. Join our experienced instructor with extensive HW/SW background, assisted by robotics team members from UC Berkeley and Lynbrook High Robotics Champions!
International Outdoor Adventure
- 5-day / 4-night away-from-home adventure in Windsor, California. An enriching and fun-filled opportunity for your child to develop leadership, inter-personal and cooperative skills and mingle with youth from around the world.
- Attendees participate in specially coordinated cultural-exchange programs with international attendees, engage in a wide spectrum of outdoor classes, activities and sports with experienced instructors and camp counsellors, enjoying a vibrant and healthy natural setting and world-class resort accomodations.
- Day activities include swimming, hiking, horseback riding, archery, sports, touring local farms and the coast, outdoor painting, photography club, cooking, bbq picnic and more.
Sports Combination
- For those who love playing sports and outdoor games. Enjoy a variety of fun sports and activities including Basketball, Tennis, Soccer, Volleyball, Track, Relay, Hi-Jump, Long-Jump, Horse-Shoes, Frisbee, Croquet, Bocce Ball, Kite Flying, Mixed Martial Arts and more.
- Learn rules and techniques, and practice and improve all aspects of each game with experienced coaches and counsellors. Emphasis on participation and sportsmanship.
- Our flexible program allows students to try many different sports or focus on two specialties. Students enroll in either Division I (grades K-3) or Division II (grades 4-8). Those who focus on specialties spend two hours daily instruction per sport.

Discovery & Knowledge
- A diverse and uniquely blended program which includes science discovery and world history projects, arts & crafts, speech & readers' theater, academic drills, broadway musical, hip-hop dance, indoor and outdoor games and recreation, and daily exercise, such as yoga, pilates, and kung-fu.

Classic to Modern Dance
- Dance all day if you wish! Intensive course emphasizing the language of body movement through dance, exploring a wide spectrum of dance techniques and styles from classical ballet to jazz, modern, lyric, latin, hip-hop and yoga with experienced and highly skilled instructors/dancers. Includes segments on choreography, costume design, cosmetics and staging.
- Weekly dance performances integrating all forms and levels of dance, and which showcase all of the dancers, allowing more able dancers a chance to perform at or above level, rather than performing only simpler choreography. Spend the summer doing something you really love!

English Writing & Speech
- Intensive course designed to boost student's writing powers and nurture public speaking skills.
- The writing aspect of the course is comprehensive, covering vocabulary drills and usage, written versus spoken language patterns, grammar and usage, comprehension and analysis of literary examples, and essay and writing assignments, from preparation of content and message, to planning, logical flow, and choice of style.
- The speech aspect addresses not only technical issues of delivery, but more basic concerns of critical thinking and confident self-expression. Curriculum begins with more socially-oriented exercises and progresses toward more extensive projects involving preparation, memorization, and polished presentation of fully constructed speeches.

Super Math Boot Camp
- Intensive mathematics course designed to solidfy mathematical concepts, hone abstract thinking and problem-solving skills and increase speed and accuracy, especially for students who desire to excel in mathematics beyond the requirements of the usual school curriculum.

Chinese Language & Culture
- This course offers spoken and written traditional and simplified Chinese language classes with an emphasis on developing fluency and vocabulary for all levels, including beginning, as well as an opportunity to experience in depth different facets of this fascinating and ancient culture.
- Topics include Chinese culture, calligraphy, Chinese painting & crafts, traditional Chinese cultural games, lion dance, and kung fu, as well as readers' theater and drama.
